I registered for a domain and they charged my paypal acct. The next thing I know I'm receiving a refund. I called them several times. They are good about answering their phones and having an actual person talk to you, but there was nothing that person could do for me. I got the impression from the emails I received that they thought I was a fake person or something like that. They wanted me to provide proof of identification and some other stuff. I registered two domains a couple of days ago and now they say I cancelled both and cancelled the 2 months hosting I also bought from them. It appears that godaddy is a monster out of control. This was the last thing I ever expected to happen. I also advise people to stay away from godaddy. Now it's scary knowing they have my paypal account on file. The EXACT SAME THING happened to me today. I registered two domains a couple of days ago and now they say I cancelled both and cancelled the 2 months hosting I also bought from them. AND AT THE SAME MINUTE they sent a mail stating that they received my confirmation and have canceled my site and I have lost control of my dedicated server + domain!!! Unbelievable. STAY AWAY FROM GODADDY!!! This happened to me too! I could not believe it.
